Things have been a little quite this week, and I'm trying to catch up on some reviews that landed on the back burner due to time constraints. Tonight's covers the very cool Rex Ganon figure from Jesse Destasio, better known to many of you as R Hunter. He's one of the guys behind the very hip site Millionaire Playboy, and the driving force behind the Subcultures 'toys as art' expos. Rex is his baby, his action figure brought to plastic, and it's very cool to see one of our own manage to get a figure to market.
The guest review covers the Masterforce series of Microman figures from Takara, and is by reviewer Joe D'Angelo. He does a great job putting together a very in depth review, with lots of great photos. You can check them both out at the usual:

weird, I knew about the Batman one, but I didn't know they had an Autobot Microman. I was about to spout off about the Micro history but I see you already covered it, bravo Mike. [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img]
Rex is news to me, but he looks pretty cool. Like something out of Tin-Tin or such.
(And if Chaser reads this: a few years ago they released a 4-figure set of Devilman Micromen (I only have one), though these were using the classic Micro bodies.)
Rex rocks, I might have to buy me one.

The final total came to just $10, so I sent an email to their contact address to see if this was correct. Jesse himself answered and said that this was an unadvertised, limited price. Not bad!
